Mahindra Mojo UT300 tourer bike launched in India, priced at Rs 1.49 lakh

Mahindra Two Wheelers has launched Mojo UT300 in India at a price of Rs 1.49 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). UT stands for Universal Tourer.

Mahindra Mojo UT300 comes with a 295cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine with a carburettor fuel system instead of a fuel injection system in order to cut the cost.

The engine can produce a power of 23bhp with 25.2Nm of torque and comes with a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle has a 320mm petal brake in the and 245mm disc brake in the rear.

The Mahindra Mojo can prove to be a perfect option for long tour as it comes with a 21-litre fuel tank.

For smoother ride, Mahindra Mojo UT300 has a 17-inch tubeless tyres from MRF and a gas charged monoshock rear suspension.

 On the launch of the two wheeler, Prakash Wakankar – CEO of Mahindra Two Wheelers said, "At Mahindra, we have always believed in innovation and providing our consumers an exciting value proposition. With the launch of the Mojo UT 300, we believe that we have an exciting product offering for the new age bike enthusiast. With the launch of this new variant, the Mojo will now be available to a wider range of consumers in more than 60 cities across India’’.

Mojo UT300 retains the styling quotient of XT300 but loses out considerably in terms of specifications in order to make it affordable.

Mahindra UT300 is priced at Rs 1.49 lakh and with benefits of Rs 10,000 which brings down its price to Rs 1.39 lakh. On the other hand, XT300 is priced at Rs 1.79 lakh which is Rs 21,000 more that the newly-launched.
