Bengaluru Police register case against Congress MLA’s son for battery
Mohammad Haris Nalapad And His Friends Attacked A 24-year-old Youth At A Restaurant In Bengaluru On Saturday Night, As A Result, The Man Received Grievous Injuries And Was Immediately Taken To Mallya Hospital.
Bengaluru Police have said that a case has been registered Mohammad Haris Nalapad, son of Congress MLA NA Haris.
“A case has been registered and a probe is on. We have seized the CCTV footage and arrested 7 people, including Mohammed Haris Nalapad while one of them is yet to be traced. They are under our custody for two days,” said Dr Chandragupta, DCP, Central Division, Bengaluru.
“We found that it started with a verbal spat between Haris and the man Vidyut. He was beaten up and later threatened by them at the hospital. We're checking for witnesses there too. The accused have confessed to the assault. We're recording statements of witnesses,” added the DCP.
Mohammad Haris Nalapad and his friends attacked a 24-year-old youth at a restaurant in Bengaluru on Saturday night, as a result, the man received grievous injuries and was immediately taken to Mallya Hospital.
Following the incident, the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) suspended Mohammed Haris Nalapad from the party for six years.
