Delhi: OLA cab driver strangulated to death, juvenile among six arrested
Ccording To The Police, The Accused Have Been Identified As Rahul, Naeemudin, Hemant, Amit, Vishal And One Juvenile Who Had Strangulated Hari Narayan, The Cab Driver With His Gamcha, And Then Threw The Dead Body In The Open Area Behind Khampur Radio Station.
Six people have been arrested by the Delhi Police for their alleged involvemenrt in the murder case of an OLA cab driver in Alipur on Wednesday night.
According to the Rohini district police, the accused have been identified as Rahul, Naeemudin, Hemant, Amit, Vishal and one juvenile. They together strangled Hari Narayan, the cab driver, to death and then threw his body behind Khampur Radio Station, police said.
"On March 23, a dead body was found near open DDA land behind Khampur radio station in Alipur. The dead body was shifted to a mortuary. On the basis of a tailor mark of the shirt of the deceased, he was identified as Hari Narayan, a cab driver with Ola," said Rajneesh Gupta, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini).
The police have recovered three pistols, six live cartridges and the stolen OLA cab from their possession.

Police said they got a tip about the criminals involved and planned to catch them near Raja Harish Chander Hospital of Narela area in Delhi.
"Our team acted quickly and apprehended three accused persons. Three country-made pistols and six live cartridges were recovered. The arrested accused further disclosed the names of their associates and then Amit, Vishal and one juvenile were arrested," stated Gupta.
It was revealed during the interrogation that the accused gang was in need of money.
"To fulfill their needs, they formed a gang and purchased three country-made pistols from Moradabad. On March 23, Naveen booked an Ola cab from Rahul's phone for Kashmiri Gate and called the driver. They cancelled the booking after the cab reached the location," said Gupta.
Police said the investigation is at an early stage and a detailed interrogation of accused is being carried out.
