Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ gets U/A certificate by CBFC

Remember, Ayushmann Khurrana who played the role of a sperm donor in 2012 superhit film ‘Vicky Donor’, will now be seen as a victim of Erectile Dysfunction in his upcoming flick ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’.

‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’, which was expected to receive ‘A certificate’ from the Censor Board because of its sexual theme, but received U/A certificate instead and without any cuts.

Lead star Ayushmann spoke to a leading daily and said, “I am so glad we got this all-clear from the CBFC. This just shows that the CBFC is progressive and supports the content of our film, which deals with performance-anxiety among men. When audiences see Shubh Mangal Saavdhan they’ll realise it’s a very important film’’.

Directed by R.S Prasanna, ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ is an upcoming comedy-drama.

The trailer of the flick was released on August 1 and received good response from the public.

Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana, the flick also features Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles and Brijendra Kala, Subhankar Tripathi, Anshul Chauhan and Anmol Bajaj in pivotal role.

The movie is a remake of Tamil film ‘Kalyana Samayal Sadham’ and is slated to release on September 1.
