Radhika Apte and Manav starrer new Netflix original ‘Ghoul’ was premiered on Tuesday, where the two actors attended the event with a very enthusiastic note. The premiere took place on Tuesday night at the Great Eastern Mills in Byculla and in an apparent nod to the show’s genre, both the actors walked the “black carpet” at the event.
‘Lust Stories’ actor Radhika Apte, who is sailing high on the success of another Netflix original ‘Sacred Games’, will be seen playing a powerful role in the horror series “Ghoul”. The horror series, which is based on an Arabic folklore, will be the first of its kind by the streaming giant.
The series director Patrick Graham also walked the black carpet along with producers Vikramaditya Motwane and Kilian Kerwin. Many prominent giants from the Bollywood fraternity attended the event, such as Anurag Kashyap, Jim Sarbh, Sanya Malhotra, Sanjay Kapoor, and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
“Ghoul” is a horror series that revolves around a prisoner who arrives at a remote military interrogation centre and turns the tables on his interrogators exposing their most shameful secrets.
The three-episode series, produced in partnership with Phantom Films, Ivanhoe and Blumhouse, has been written by Graham.
The series will be available on Netflix from August 24 onwards.
