Actor Jeff Goldblum, who is all set to launch his debut jazz album 'The Capitol Studios Sessions', surprised London commuters with a performance at the iconic St Pancras International station. The 65-year-old actor performed on music from his forthcoming jazz album after he took a seat at Sir Elton John's iconic piano, situated on the station's main concourse.

The crowd soon gathered around Jurassic Park film veteran and was applauding for the actor at every track.

"I always like playing out and about," Goldblum told the audience.

"You never know who you're going meet. And music soothes the savage breast! Or is it beast?" he added.

The actor, who started playing jazz at the age of 15, was recently signed by iconic label Decca Records.

He was signed after the label's executives spotted him accompanying singer Gregory Porter on the piano during a performance on "The Graham Norton Show" last October while promoting Thor: Ragnarok.

He regularly plays with his jazz band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, around LA and at the Cafe Carlyle in New York.

Goldblum also hosts a weekly jazz variety show at LA's Rockwell Table and Stage when not away on location.
