Family Time With Kapil Sharma to go on air as scheduled, team resumes shoot

Kapil Sharma is all set to make a comeback to the small screens with his upcoming show Family Time With Kapil Sharma. The Sony Entertainment Television show will hit the airwaves on March 25.

Grapevines were buzzing with the rumours that the Firangi star cancelled the shoot with the team of Baaghi 2 featuring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. The channel airing the show had blamed a technical snag for the delay in the shoot on Monday.

There were speculations that the talented comedian had to cancel the shoot because of his recent war of words with Sunil Grover on Twitter. However, a source close to the sets informed Indian Express that these rumours are false.

The cast and crew of the much-awaited show shot for their first episode on Friday, as per the report in the leading daily.  A channel representative told Indian Express that the team had resumed their shoot.

Interestingly, the source informed the leading daily that the team of Baaghi 2 was never supposed to shoot with the team, putting an end to all the speculations.

Family Time With Kapil Sharma which also stars Kiku Sharda, Neha Pendse and Chandan Prabhakar will air its first episode this Sunday. The second episode will feature Raid actor Ajay Devgn who recently promoted his movie on the show.
