Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha (SCS), the student wing of the Samajwadi Party (SP) have come out with flying colours in the recently concluded elections of the Allahabad University, winning four out of five seats.
The important posts of President, Vice President, Joint Secretary and Cultural Secretary went to the SCS whereas the post of Joint Secretary has gone to the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) camp.
This result is contrary to the last two years of students' election at the Central University when the ABVP in 2015 registered big win by securing four out of five seats except the post of president.
In 2016 the ABVP won the posts of President and Joint Secretary.
