BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya's 21-year-old son dies of heart attack in Hyderabad
Former union minister and BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya’s son Bandaru Vaishnav died of a massive cardiac arrest on Tuesday night. Vaishnav, 21, a third-year medical student reportedly collapsed while having dinner at their residence in Hyderabad’s Ramnagar.
Dattatreya took his son to Guru Nanak Care Hospital in Hyderabad where doctors told the BJP leader that they would take care of him and he could go home. At 1.30 am, doctors declared Vaishnav dead, according to the reports.
As soon as the news of his death came, State BJP president Dr K Laxman, the mayor of Hyderabad, Bonthu Ramamohan and other leaders reached the hospital.
Dattatreya was Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labour and Employment from 2014 to 2017 in the Narendra Modi government. He was also a minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Cabinet.
