Family planning law for all faiths should be enacted: Giriraj Singh
While Population Of Muslims Has Increased Considerably In India, The Number Of Hindus Has Fallen Drastically In Pakistan After The Partition.
While addressing a gathering at Bhopal Union Minister of state for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Giriraj Singh said that a family planning law for all faith should be enacted.
Invoking the nationalism debate Singh said that democracy is safe in India because majority of the population are Hindus and that it will deteriorate if Hindu population starts to decline.
"Hindu population has dipped in 54 districts in states like Uttar Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, besides someother states. These districts are Muslim majority and this demographic change is a threat to the unity and integrity ofthe country," the BJP leader said.
While population of Muslims has increased considerably inIndia, the number of Hindus has fallen drastically in Pakistan after the partition.
