Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is gearing up to launch three new handsets in India. The smartphones are expected to be Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 Pro. "#DeshKeNayeSmartphones! Mi fans! We've got more than one for you! Coming very soon," tweeted Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi Global VP and Xiaomi India Managing Director. Earlier, three smartphones in the series were launched in China in June, with the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A launched by Xiaomi at the same time while the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro being unveiled a two weeks later. 1. Xiaomi Redmi 6 runs MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. 2. Smartphone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. 3. The phone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. 4. Xiaomi Redmi 6A: The smartphone is not much different from Xiaomi Redmi 6. The base specifications remain the same. However, Xiaomi Redmi 6A packs a quad-core 12nm MediaTek Helio A22 processor. It comes with a single 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It features a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel secondary sensor and has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It has a powerful battery support of 4,000mAh which other two smartphones in the series lack.
