Bus service to be launched between Kathmandu and Bodh Gaya

A bus service will be launched on Thursday between Nepal’s capital Kathmandu and Bodh Gaya, the poplar Buddhist pilgrimage site in India.
Nepal Minister for Physical Planning and Transport Raghubir Mahaseth will flag off the bus from Swoyambhu, a famous Buddhist heritage site in Kathmandu, in the presence of Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri.

The bus service between the two cities is aimed at promoting pilgrimage tourism between Nepal and India.
The Bodh Gaya-Kathmandu bus will pass through Gaya, Patna, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Motihari, Raxaul and Birganj.
