Delhi Half Marathon: 34,000 people run for a health life

In A Much Appreciated Event All Over The Globe, Nearly 34,000 Enthusiasts Took Part And Run For A Healthy Life. Africans Especially From Kenya And Euthopia Have Always Been Charming The Event But This Time Indian Athletes Also Gave A Tough Competition With Their Participation.

In a much appreciated event all over the globe, nearly 34,000 enthusiasts took part and run for a healthy life. Africans especially from Kenya and Euthopia have always been charming the event but this time Indian athletes also gave a tough competition with their participation.

The Half Marathon for the Elite Men category started at 6:40 AM which was then soon followed by the Half Marathon for Elite Woman at 6:50 AM.

10K, 5K and 3K marathon for Indian athletes also kick started as per schedule and was flagged off at 6:55 AM. Amateur marathon was also organised and it started at 7:00 AM on Sunday.

Like every year, athletes from all across the globe took part in the marathon. To motivate participant legends like Kenenisa Bekele — also the ambassador for ADHM-2015 – was present at the venue.

Celebrities like Rahul Bose, Anil Ambani and Gagan Bawa were also present to embrace the event with their active participation. Fitness freak Bipasha Basu also attended the event organised at Nehru Stadium in the national capital.
