New Delhi:
Unknown attackers on Sunday fired three rocket launchers at a United Nation peacekeeping base in Northern Mali which left three people dead.
As said by a UN statement, the attack is being considered as the latest sign of the terrorism intensifying in the country.
Mali which is known as a French colony is considered as terrorist hit nation. French troops along with a strong UN peacekeeping force known MINUSMA are striving hard to stabilize the country.
Attacks by Desert-based jihadists are a regular event here but this time the degree of the attack is quite higher as UN base has been hit and suffered casuality.
The rockets were fired around 4 a.m. inside the MINUSMA camp. Four people are seriously injured after the incident.
Days ago, Gunmen went on a shooting rampage atthe luxury Radisson Blu hotel in Mali's capital Bamako today,seizing 170 guests and staff in an ongoing hostage-taking thathas left at least three people dead.
