Indore:
All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) race for engineering students, where the four-wheelers made by the students themselves are to be used, would be held under the banner of ‘Mahindra Baja Sae India’ at Pithampur industrial area in the neighbouring Dhar district from February 16 to 21.
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) is one of the organisers of this edition of the race.
“We received 400 entries from engineering colleges all over the country. Of this 147 teams have been shortlisted for participation, including three all-girl teams,” SAE vice president K C Vora said here.
He said the race, with total cash prize of Rs 33.5 lakh, would be held on the 4.8-km track of the National Automotive Testing and Research and Development Project.
