Ghaziabad:
Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim's auctioned car was burnt in full view in Ghaziabad on Wednesday.
The announcement was earlier made by Swami Chakrapani at an auction in Mumbai earlier this month.
Speaking to the media, the right-wing Hindu leader said, “Our organisation has decided to burn the car publicly at Indirapuram in Ghaziabad between 1 pm and 2 pm. Burning the car would be symbolic of conducting the last rites of the terrorism that Dawood and his henchmen spread in the country, especially in Mumbai.”
The national president of ‘All India Hindu Mahasabha’ bid successfully for the green Hyundai Accent car for a mere Rs 32,000 on December 9.
He also informed that earlier he wanted to convert the car into an ambulance, but after getting threats from the D-company he decided to reply to them in his own language.
"I am going to torch it in full public view,” he said.
The car, which is in a battered condition, was transported to Delhi from Mumbai a few days ago.
