Bajirao Mastani glittered high at The Renault Sony Guild Awards 2015 with nothing less than nine awards, which made it a clear cut charmer at the ceremony held in Mumbai.
Top awards like best actor, best actress and best director were claimed by Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali respectively; incidentally all three worked together in Bajirao Mastani.
Nine awards won by Bajirao Mastani includes Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Sound Design, Best Costume Design, Best Dialogue, Best Choreography, Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Actor in Leading Role.
Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan stood on second place with a total of four awards including Best Film along with Best Screenplay, Best Story and Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
The award ceremony was hosted by small screen comedian Kapil Sharma, who also bagged award for Best Debut (Male) for his performance in 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon'.
Many stars stunned audiences with their mind blowing performances during the ceremony. Sonakshi kick started the evening with an aerial entry and performed to a medley of songs including Desi Kalakkar, DJ Wale Babu, Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai and Banno Tera Swagger.
Priyanka Chopra, Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khuranna are some other stars who made show worth watching.
