Microsoft has unveiled a new and free selfie app which has been created to improve appearances of the users.
The app is similar to the ‘beauty’ option available on Xiaomi smartphones. Called the Microsoft Selfie, the app automatically perfects lighting while smoothing facial imperfections without distorting the image.
Users get the option to choose the level of improvement in the image using an on-screen slider. Age, gender and skin tone – all such factors are considered.
"Users can transform average photos into more presentable portraits in seconds. Key features of this application are noise reduction, intelligent enhancement, automatic exposure and color theme," says Microsoft.
