Retorting the act of Suspending all crew by Air India for his singing, Sonu Nigam has called the action as ‘Real Intolerence’.
“This act lack of common sense according to me is real intolerance,” the singer retorted today, pointing out that when he sang, there were no announcements that needed to be made. “I have witnessed an elaborate fashion show in an aircraft...I have seen pilots and crew members cracking humorous jokes to loosen up passengers in other countries which is so cool,” he said.
According to a statement issued by the carrier over the issue said, “All cabin crew on the flight have been taken off from flight duty for enquiry and corrective training to reinforce strict adherence to operating procedures.”
The carrier also said the entire crew will undergo training again to join their duties in near future.
The incident happened when, onboard a flight from Jodhpur to Mumbai, the celebrity had given a spontaneous performance mid-air.
