Commuters had to face huge trouble as the cab drivers on Monday blocked traffic on the Delhi-Gurgaon border in protest against a Supreme Court decision banning diesel taxis in New Delhi.

The commuters took to social media to report about their misery. Here are a few tweets:

“The red zone is all what Delhi-Gurgaon traffic is all about. Thanks SC n Diesel owners, I’m stuck past 2hrs.” posted a commuter.

Reportedly, blockade led to a massive traffic snarl on NH-8, with vehicles lined up for 2km, an official said. 

Commuters took to social media websites and posted images and videos of the traffic jam.
