It was third consecutive loss for Gujarat Lions. Dhawan and bowlers helped Sunrisers to set up a win against Gujarat Lions. Dhawal and Bravo bowled well but not enough runs to defend. Dhawan 47 off 40 balls handed the match.
Sunrisers exploited the slow pitch very well to restrict Gujarat Lions to 126 runs. It was only Aaron Finch who scored 50 off 42 balls to boost the Lions. Bhuvi and Mustafizur strangled the Lions taking two wickets each.
It will be a good contest between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions at Hyderabad. In the last encounter, Sunrisers crushed Lions by 10 wickets at Rajkot. It is also 100th IPL match for Dwayne Bravo. Yuvraj Singh also makes his debut for Sunrisers after two weeks. Gujarat have lost their last encounters and displayed by Kolkata as table toppers.
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad have won the toss and decided to bowl first. Two changes for Lions, Bravo comes in place of Faulkner and Sangwan for Ishan Kishan. Ashish Reddy makes way for Yuvraj Singh for Sunrisers.
