As Narendra Modi government completes two years, News Nation conducted an extensive survey in which we spoke to more than 7000 people about the achievements of Modi government. Has the government yet achieved Acche Din in the country? The survey was conducted between 20 May to 23 May. A total of 57 schemes have been introduced by the Modi government in the span of two years , now News Nation asks people how satisfied they are with the ruling government?
In the survey News Nation asked various questions on the assessment of Narendra Modi government. In the survey, 72 per cent people give more than 5 marks out of 10 to this government in the last two years.
49 per cent people believe that economic condition of the country has improved in the last two years. While, 52 per cent people say that inflation has been high in the last two years. These statistics highlight the key areas on which a government’s report card can be prepared.
As the Modi-led government completes two years, it needs to be ascertained whether the government has been successful in fulfilling its promises and a look back at its achievements. In the survey it was found that 52 per cent people say that Modi government’s promise of bringing back black money was just a political gimmick.
When it comes to the schemes introduced in the span of two years, 61 per cent people give thumbs up to PM Modi’s Make In India initiative. On the foreign policy front with countries like China and Pakistan, India's involvement as a leading global player has been commendable. Expectations for the Modi government have been high since day one but in two years how the country is progressing remains a big concern.
