Director Sajid Khan has decided to quit making movies like Housefull series - 'I am just joking'. He is not thinking any such thing and he won’t. Why should he? Just because he comes up with some jokes which only few can understand or just for the fact that some find his drama a complete nonsense.
Well, he intend to make a nonsense drama and if most of the viewers find the same then it is a win win situation for Sajid Khan. Apart from this, there is another big factor which would not let Sajid Khan come up with an idea to drop making such movie.
MONEY!
Remember Housefull 2 was framed as one of worst movies ever made, still it managed to earn nothing less than Rs 186 crores, which is three times the cost of investment. Same goes for the first edition of the film which was made for Rs 45 crores and had earned massive Rs 115 crores in total.
As per trends, many reports suggested an opening of 15-20 crores for the film and with this, magical Rs 100 crore mark won’t be difficult to breach.
Housefull 3 is a comical drama that stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon and Boman Irani in the lead characters.
