Aarushi murder case: Nupur Talwar gets 3-week parole to visit ailing mother

New Delhi:

The Allahabad High Court on Monday granted 3-week parole to Nupur Talwar, a convict in the Aarushi Talwar murder case, to visit her ailing mother. 

In 2013, the CBI court had convicted Nupur and her husband Rajesh Talwar for the gruesome killings of their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj. The court had sentenced life imprisonment to the dentist couple.

On May 16, 2008, 14-year-old Aarushi was found dead in her residence in Noida. Initially, it was suspected that Aarushi was killed by Hemraj. But Hemraj’s body was recovered two days later fro the terrace of the flat. After five years of investigation, the couple was found guilty in the case.
