Rahul Raj Singh, boyfriend of late TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee finds himself on the wrong side of the law once again. Life seems to be a difficult proposition for him and he was booked and arrested for drunk driving on Sunday night.
The shocking incident occurred in Santacruz area of Mumbai.Rahul is no stranger to controversies. Recently, he was booked for molestation and assault as an actress had complained against him and his friend. Moreover, he was also charge sheeted for allegedly abetting Pratyusha Banerjee’s suicide in April this year.
The recent case has once again brought Rahul to limelight. As per reports, the police had cordoned off the Santacruz region when Rahul along with his ex-girlfriend Saloni Sharma, drove his car from there. The police were shocked to find excess level of alcohol in his blood upon stopping his car. Further investigations revealed that Rahul didn’t possess even a driving license. If that was not enough, Saloni started arguing and misbehaving with the cops.
“Rahul was brought to the Santacruz police station by the traffic police for the offence of driving under influence of alcohol. Saloni was arguing with the police to not take action else she would complain to superiors. They were brought before the night duty inspector Shrikant Desai and he tried to pacify them. But they still argued. Rahul was not possessing his driving license. Action taken for drunken driving and not possessing driving license vide LAC No 4600/16 and 4601/16,” said Mumbai Police spokesperson Ashok Dudhe.
