Gorakhpur:
Two constables of Gorakhpur Police were allegedly caught taking bribe of Rs. 1.5 lakh on camera. The constables allegedly asked for the hefty bribe for releasing a man in a fake robbery case.
While bribing the constables, the accused’s brother a CRPF personnel recorded the video of the incident.
A resident of Gahasan village, Mahesh Singh was caught by police in a bike robbery case, which happened last month. After which constables Ranvijay Yadav and Shivji Yadav took Mahesh to police station.
CRPF Personnel accused the constables of asking bribe and if not bribed, would charge his brother on Gangster Act.
Gorakhpur City SP has ordered an enquiry into the case.
