New Delhi:

Defence Minister of India Manohar Parrikar on Saturday strike back at Pakistan for dismissing India's surgical attacks on terror camps across LoC as border skirmishes.

"If Pakistan continues with such conspiracies, we will give them a befitting reply again," said Parrikar in New Delhi on Saturday.

Parrikar said, "Pakistan shouldn't take India's silence as weakness, Pak didn't probe the matter as it is still in shock after the surgical strike."

Meanwhile, Vice President of India Hamid Ansari also justified Indian Army's actions across the border. Speaking to media on the matter, Ansari said, "Government has stated very clearly why action was necessary, (terror) launch pads were identified and taken care of."

The Vice President said that India cannot be 'the recipient of terrorist attacks all the time and do nothing about it.'

"How you do that is something left to the judgement of the Govt and the professionals in charge of this," he said.

"PM Narendra Modi has said that right in beginning, we will do it, and do it in the time and method of our choosing," Ansari said.

Indian Army on Thursday carried out surgical strikes in Pakistan near Line of Control to destroy at least seven launchpads of terrorist camps and kill 38 terrorists in response to the Uri terror attack, which left 19 soldiers dead on September 18.
