Srinagar:
In a fresh terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, militants on Tuesday evening targeted a police station in Yaripora area of Kulgam sector. According to reports, an encounter between security forces and militants is underway.
The terrorists attack in Jammu and Kashmir are seen as retaliation by terrorists after Indian Army’s surgical strike across the LoC in reply to Uri attacks, which had left 19 Indian soldiers martyred on September 18.
On October 2, a jawan was killed and another injured when militants attacked their camp and a nearby Army unit in Baramulla district town.
