Mumbai:
Hritik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro flopped miserably at the box office but the actor is looking forward to his upcoming film Kabil directed by Sanjay Gupta.
Hrithik who plays an imitation artist in the film, has imitated Big B Amitabh Bachchan's voice in his upcoming project.
“When Hrithik did a voice imitation of Big B, he was so uncannily close to the original that everyone on the sets assumed that sound designer Resul Pookutty had somehow engineered the voiceover,” a source said.
The source also added, “Hrithik’s character Rohan Bhatnagar in Kabil is a blind man who lives a normal life in the city much like many others there and earns by being a dubbing artist. Apart from Mr Bachchan’s voice, Rohan is seen mimicking other celebrities as well.”
Hrithik Roshan gifted with the art of mimicry insisted on dubbing the voice of Amitabh Bachchan himself. And it is reported that Hrithik and Resul have worked on the imitation excellently.
Hrithik was reported to say, “I guess this is just a reflection of the kind of impact Mr Bachchan has had on my generation, and of course, the fact that hard work equals results.”
Kabil by Rakesh Roshan is said to be released on January 26, 2017.
