A grenade blast rocked Kashmir's Shopian district on Tuesday morning. According to reports, the blast has injured 3 CRPF jawans and 8 civilians. The alert Indian Army has cordoned off the area and the search operation is on. More details awaited. Another terrorist attack in Pampore area near Srinagar was still underway at the time of this report. Three terrorists were holed up inside J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute since Monday.

Referring to the Cauvery row, DMK President M Karunanidhi said the upper riparian state Karnataka was “least bothered” about implementing the Supreme Court directives on water release to Tamil Nadu, even as farmers here were keenly watching what the Centre, state and the apex court had to say on the matter.
