Prime Minister Narendra Modi attends Dussehra celebrations in Aishbagh Ramleela ground of Lucknow. After arriving amid tight security in for participating in the Vijay Dashami celebration for the first time, PM Modi was greeted by Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and others.
Heightened security arrangements were made in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, ahead of PM Modi’s participation in Dussehra celebrations.
Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and Rapid Action Force (RAF) have been deployed, traffic has also been diverted and security was set in place for the high profile event taking place in the Aishbagh locality.
Despite the security alarms, all efforts were being made to ensure that citizens do not face any trouble due to the extra precautions taken.
According to the convenor of the event, city Mayor and BJP national Vice President Dinesh Sharma informed that Modi would be witnessing the 'Ravan Vadh' during the Ram Leela programme.
