B-Town rememberes veteran actor Shammi Kapoor on his 85th Birth Anniversary. Actor Shammi Kapoor was perhaps one of the finest dancers in Bollywood during the 80s. Though his unique dancing moves inspired many actors to imitate his style, yet no one could replicate it.Shammi Kapoor was born on October 21, 1931 in Mumbai. He was one of the most entertaining lead actors that Hindi cinema has ever produced.He was one of the leading stars of Hindi cinema during the late 1950s, the 1960s and early 1970s.He was given Filmfare Best Actor Award for Brahmachari in 1968.In 2008 Shammi Kapoor was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to Indian cinema at the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF).
