Akhtar claimed to be a resident of Chandani Chowk and produced a forged Aadhar card bearing the house address 2350, Gali Near Madari, Rodgran Mohalla.

However, Mohd Asif, who owns the house, said, “I don’t know how and why my address was there in the card. We only got to know about it after mediapersons came to my house to ask me about how my address was there in that person’s Aadhar card.  It’s shocking for us.”

“Our forefather lived here and now my family is staying here and it will pass on to my kids. I don’t know this person who has my address on his card,” he stressed.

He also said if the police questions him, he will tell them the truth.

“Police haven’t questioned us till now. We have nothing to hide. Whatever is the truth, we will tell them,” said Asif, who has a business of selling electric water motors.
