The dense smog cloud cover which has been largely looming across the Delhi and NCR region has been breathing havoc in the nation's capital region and surrounding areas over the last couple of days.

On Thursday morning, there was yet another report of a road accident as poor visibility led to thirty vehicles colliding on the Delhi- Hissar highway near Rohtak, Haryana.

Poor visibility has severely affected the city traffic and traffic jams have been the order of the day. The already dangerous pollution levels far above the stipulated WHO norms have lead to an alarming rise in lung disorders and breathing problems in the nation's capital.

The fireworks on Diwali have also contributed to worsening the already dangerous air quality and reducing the visibility for the daily commuters.
