The ruling Janata Dal (United) has alleged that the BJP purchased land worth crore in Bihar days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the demonetisation move.

The JD(U) alleged that the party bought several land parcels in the state till the first week of November. And on 8 November Modi announced the ban on high-denomination currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000.

In a series of tweets, JD(U) raised several questions on the alleged land deals.
