New Delhi:
2 cops were killed while one other sustained serious injuries in a militant attack on patrol party in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday.
The militants attacked the patrol team at a bus stand in the town following which the whole area has been cordoned off.
A search operation has also been launched to nab the attackers.
This is the second major attack on security forces in the militancy-hit region.
Earlier in the day, a soldier was killed in an encounter between militants and security forces in in Bandipora region.
