Dhanush's directorial debut ‘Power Paandi’ to release in April

Tamil actor Dhanush has decided to release his directorial debut ‘Power Paandi’ in April 2017, coinciding with his mother’s birthday.

“Power paandi #dd1 will release on 14-4-2017. Happens to be my mother’s birthday #blessed,” he said in a Twitter post.”

April 14 is also the first day of Tamil New Year and films with big star cast contest for this date.

The film depicts the life of a stuntman.

The national award winning Dhanush has cast senior actor Rajkiran in the lead role of Power Paandi.
