Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with President Pranab Mukerjee on Tuesday paid his tributes to B R Ambedkar, saying India will always be thankful to Babasaheb for his rich service to the nation.
"I bow to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his Nirvan Divas. India will always be thankful to Babasaheb for his rich service to the nation," he said in a tweet.
He also paid floral tributes to Ambedkar at a function in Parliament.
Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, was the Architect of the Indian Constitution.
