New Delhi:
The Opposition parties staged a protest demonstration inside the Parliament building on Thursday as mark of completion of a month of announcement of the demonetisation move.Members of Congress, TMC, Samajwadi Party, NCP and BSP shouted slogans against the Narendra Modi government.
Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav, Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav too joined the protest to criticise the currency ban move.
Opposition parties have lined up elaborate programmes on completion of a month of demonetisation exercise.
On the other hand, the logjam inside both the Houses of Parliament has shown no signs of fading with both government and the Opposition accusing each other of stalling the proceedings of the Winter Session.
