The makers of Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Reload’ have finally announced the release date of the movie, saying it will hit the theatres on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi next year.
The announcement was made through a press conference stating that ‘Reload’ will release on August 25.
Interestingly, it was speculated that the movie is a sequel to Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif’s 2014 release ‘Bang Bang’.
However, the makers refuted the reports saying it has no relevance with Hrithik-Katrina starrer.
An action thriller, ‘Releoad’ will feature Sidharth Malhotra in a double role for the first time in his career. He was last seen in ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ opposite Katrina Kaif early this year, which flunked at the box office.
Sid has been paired opposite Jacqueline Fernandez in the movie. This is the first time Sidharth and Jacqueline will be seen sharing the screen space.
Besides, the movie will also have actor Suniel Shetty, who will play the role of Sid’s father.
According to the media reports, ‘Reload’ will have various high octane action sequences performed by the ‘Brothers’ actor.
The movie is helmed by ace director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK of the “Go Goa Gone” fame and is being shot across India, US and Thailand.
