Income Tax sleuths recovered a huge haul of cash and jewellry in a raid conducted at a medical store in Chhattisgarh’s Bemetara district on Wednesday.

I-T officials seized cash worth Rs 70 lakh in new and scrapped currency in the raid carried out at Sri Ram Medical Store in city’s Sadar Bazar.

Officials said termites ate up currency worth Rs five lakh which was kept at the store.
