Political greenhorn Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced that his party is ready to form government in Delhi.
The party also informed that Arvind Kejriwal will become the new Chief Minister of Delhi. The oath taking ceremony will take place at Ram Lila Maidan.

The decision was taken minutes after concluding the meeting of its Political Affairs Committee (PAC).
Announcing the decision, AAP leader Manish Sisodia said, "Aam Aadmi Party will stake claim to form government in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal will be our Chief Minister. 74% people in Delhi favoured AAP forming a government in Delhi," Sisodia said adding, "257 out of 280 public meetings have been in favour of AAP forming govt in Delhi."

After him, Kejriwal thanked his supporters and said, "Aam Aadmi Party has decided to stake claim to form the government in Delhi. I am going to meet Lieutenant Governor in this regard to inform him about the party's decision."

Now, Kejriwal will meet Lt Governor Najeeb Jung at 12:30 pm and discuss his stake to form the government in national capital.
Congress on Monday also maintained that it will give unconditional support to Arvind Kejriwal from outside on the assurance that his party will deliver all the promises they made.
