Living upto the expectations, movie is exactly what you perceive about it. The film is fresh and has something which you have never seen before. Though, it is the Parineeti’s first movie outside Yash Raj banner but she has proved her mettle and also shown the reason why she is among the most promising actors rising in the Bollywood industry. Sidharth Malhotra has also done justice with the character and the couple is lovable on screen.

Story:
Nikhil (Sidhharth Malhotra) is a young small businessman who is good-at-heart and leading an unsuccessful life. He is also trying everything to impress his girlfriend Karishma but not getting success in winning her heart.
During his pre-love journey he finds someone with whom he would love to spend his life. And the girl is none other than pretty Meeta (Parineeti Chopra), who is also the sister of Karishma. The two fall madly in love with each other but with an expected twist Karishma’s father disapproves of Nikhil’s callous attitude towards his life and more importantly, his career.
Now, what will Nikhil do to impress Karishma’s father so that he can take Meeta with him by tying the knot. Though Nikhil’s journey to success is interesting as Meeta is also on the run along with him.
Meeta, a chemical engineer, is way different from Nikhil as a person. She is also a drug addict and an amazing scientist. So the freshness in the character is watchable.
Direction:
Vinil Mathew, who is doing his first movie as a director, has done a fairly good job at narrating the tale of how two completely different people help each other break out of their individual shells and live life on their own terms. There are many dialogues which will tickle your funny bone.
Music:
The music of the film is good and already topping the charts these days. Vishal-Shekar undoubtly deserves an applaud for that.
Verdict:
If you love Parineeti or you are bored with normal Bollywood flicks then you can definitely choose this one to soothe yourself.
