Noida:
The ghost of ragging returned on Friday after a first year student of an animation college in Noida located in sector 46 was thrashed, stripped and sexually abused by his seniors.
An FIR was lodged on Friday against three students of a media college at sector 39 police station alleging ragging and assault.
“An FIR was lodged against the three students and a manhunt has been launched to arrest them,” Shiv Ram Yadav, Deputy Superintendent of Police, said.
The boy has also alleged that three of his seniors also recorded a video of the torture and then blackmailed him for money.
The incident reportedly took place at the hostel of an animation institute in Sector 46 of Noida adjoining Delhi.
