New Delhi:

They say cracking joke on self is a sign of a best comedian but that doesn’t mean that one should make a movie and put in only two jokes (obviously cracked on self) to enthral the audiences. Sajid Khan’s latest movie ‘Humshakals’ can be the best example to justify that.

The movie is alleged to be a comedy film but frankly speaking there are only two moments when it justifies its genre. One when asylum patients get tortured with ‘Himmatwala’, other when the same situation finds ‘Tees Maar Khan’ as the torment tool.

Set in London the movie delivers a comic confusion which is caused due to three identical people Ashok (Saif Ali Khan), Kumar (Riteish Deshmukh) and Mamaji (Ram Kapoor).

With ample amount of poor jokes and nothing much to deliver the movie has all reasons which will force you to check your notifications on the fancy phones.

Humshakals is nothing different from Sajid Khan’s Housefull and Housefull 2 which had three stars performing and dancing on screen with beautiful ladies in nighties.

Plot of the film is simple where a greedy Mamaji (Ram kapoor) is trying illogical ways with the help of an out of the box scientist to fetch the property and business of billionaire Ashok (Saif Ali Khan).

They say even if the plot is a bit weak, performances can cover it up but apart from Ram Kapoor none seem to mould it in a positive note. Ritiesh Deshmukh’s performance is very normal and Saif Ali Khan has disappointed to the core.

Talking about the music, the songs are irrelevant but sound good when played on the music systems so they might remain in chart beats for some time. The background music of the film has definitely been generated with the help of some cool creative freaks who have done their job perfectly.

Final Verdict: With no comedy and no story on offer, the movie is only watchable if you have nothing to do in your life and have a desire to see Ram Kapoor in cute women character.
