Mumbai:
Sebi is looking to rope in a professional, having experience in clinical psychology, to provide counselling services to staff at the capital market regulator’s head office.
Headquartered in Mumbai, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) is an autonomous, statutory body established by the government for the protection of investors and the regulation and development of capital markets.
In a notice, the capital market regulator has invited applications from professionals for the post of part-time counsellor.
Sebi said that the professionals are required to have “adequate experience in the field of clinical psychology with minimum a post graduate degree in clinical psychology”.
“The part-time counsellor would be required to provide counselling service for employees of Sebi at its office in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai for two days a week at a fixed remuneration of Rs 40,000 per month,” the market regulator said.
The candidates would have to apply for the post latest by October 22, 2014.
