In an important information, the Indian Air Force has asked its official to bar the services of Xiaomi phones, citing security concerns.
According to a report published in the Sunday Standard, the IAF is reportedly warning against using the devices manufactured by the Chinese company. Even the families have been asked not to use Xiaomi devices, citing security concerns.
Reports from the Indian Computer Response Team also suggest that certain Chinese devices send data to an agency which reports to the ministry of information industry in China.
Notably, Xiaomi has been accused of doing the same in Taiwan, and the government there is investigating the situation.
