Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Sunday heaped praises on Modi government for opting fair foreign policies with neighbouring countries. However, the SP Chief also slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for publicising 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' just to gain popularity for his party BJP.
He said, "Indian government must first work to end poverty in the country rather than popularising Clean India campaigns."
Mulayam Singh also laid the foundation stone of Lucknow-Agra Expressway today in the presence of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. He also advised the UP CM to gather pace ahead of upcoming Assembly elections in state in 2015.
The project would cover Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Auraiya, Kannauj, Kanpur, Unnao, Hardoi and Lucknow, the spokesperson said.
