In a shocking incident, five women for a midnight ice-cream break on MG Road in Bengaluru were harassed by some men.

The incident happened around 11.30pm on Saturday.

According to reports, the five women drove to an ice cream parlour on MG Road in a Toyota Innova. As the driver stepped out to get the women ice-cream, three men were spotted near their car who also tried to open the doors.

The woman in her complaint to Cubbon Park police mentioned, "Thee men for about 15 minutes kept staring at us. Soon others also joined and tried to open the car door. Thankfully we locked them from inside on time and started shouting and honking."

The men were also seen flashing light from their mobile phones on the women.

A case has been registered with the Bangalore police. Police say that a probe is underway and they hope to make arrests soon.
