New Delhi:

After deliberately avoiding all chances of having a face-off with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at SAARC summit, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif may attend Lahore rally of 26/11 Mumbai attacks master mind Hafiz Muhammad Saeed.

India’s most wanted terrorist Saeed will be holding two-day rally in Lahore next month for which Nawaz Sharif is one of the invitees.

The massive gathering will be organized on December 4 and 5 at Minar-e-Pakistan ground in Lahore.

The invitation which is believed to be received by Nawaz Sharif has also been sent to the leaders of the ruling party, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), opposition party, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), and Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).

Now, point that must be raised here is that even after PM Modi’s heart wrenching speech at SAARC over the 26/11 Mumbai attacks if Sharif attends the even organized by Saeed then the indications will be crystal clear that Pakistan is in no mood to act against terrorism.

Another point which must be noted that these rallies are being organized at a place which comes under the Punjab province of Pakistan, which is ruled by Sharif’s party, PML-N, and the local government has given its nod.

With no official confirmation of Sharif attending the rally and the rude attitude by Pakistan during SAARC summit we can only see things heading in wrong directions.
